Portrait Commission Arrangements

Prices do not include framing, shipping nor travel expenses.  Since I primarily work from photos, this will save you  time and expense in coming to my studio for sittings.  I prefer to work from my own photographs so appointments will need to be arranged for me to come to your home or office.   There are times when photographs will need to be chosen from your own collection.  I will help you to choose the best ones for use.  I will choose the photo references but I encourage your participation and input.  There is a deposit of 1/2 the total due at the time of photography with the final payment due at delivery, or prior if shipping is required.  At the point where the painting is half finished, I will contact you for approval.  There will be a fee incurred for any changes made after initial settlement on the composition and details, this fee will be 1/4 the total amount and due at the time of requested changes, as will any further changes afterwards.  A good estimate of completion would be 6 to 8 months from the photography session, additional time may be necessary if changes are made.

    10% discount for additional paintings commissioned within 6 months of initial commission, after delivery and payments received
